It all starts with a consultation. Before any treatment begins, Dr Claudia will encourage you to talk through what you’d like to achieve. She’ll look at the areas you’d like to transform, and discuss what’s possible.

Only then, if you are happy to go ahead, treatment can proceed. Unlike other collagen stimulating injectables – for which you will have to schedule another session – Dr Claudia can prepare and use Lanluma within minutes.

After making you comfortable, she will sterilise the area to be treated, and then inject a local anaesthetic. This makes the treatment virtually painless. She will carefully inject Lanluma where you would like to see results – and that’s it.

You’ll feel fine right after the procedure, though there may be a little redness and swelling for a few hours, so it’s a good idea to plan sessions around social engagements.

Depending on the area treated, and how your body reacts, achieving the look you are aiming for will take 1-3 sessions and results will show in the months afterwards as your natural collagen develops.

The downtime for Lanluma filler is minimal and side effects remain mild, you may expect slight discomfort and some swelling. Since the pain is minimal, we recommend that you take a paracetamol if you experience discomfort after treatment.

The downtime for LanLuma filler is minimal, yet we recommend just a few simple aftercare instructions. Before and after your LanLuma treatment, our expert aestheticians will explain to you the full aftercare procedure.

We advise that you: 

• Apply an ice pack to the treatment area within the first 24 hours.
• Massage the treatment area at least twice a day for two weeks.

We advise that you don’t: 

• Sunbathe or expose yourself to high levels of UV rays for 10 days.
• Apply skincare products, including moisturiser and make-up for 24 hours.
• Take part in any strenuous exercise for 5-7 days.
